A huge congratulations to my beautiful, sexy, and STRONG wife @lisamaximus for her kick ass performance today. She set a World Record (USPA, Multi-Ply, 60kg) for the Deadlift at 368.5lbs. She Squatted 363lbs and Bench Pressed 187lbs. Her total for the three lifts was 920lbs. She qualified for a world championship meet in November and she’ll be in the 1000lbs club in no time. Happy Saturday! Let’s kick off the weekend with a quick but effective sweat session. Who’s in? When I want to get in a great workout and not think too much about it, I love to use the K.I.S.S method! 💋 K.I.S.S stands for, “Keep It Simple Stupid” There are some days when I just want to keep it simple. I love this workout for those days that I just want to have fun in the gym and not have to think too hard about the weight I should use. This session works the upper and lower body, and also crushes the abs. Directions: Complete 1 pull-up. Then complete 1 pull-up and 2 push-ups. Then 1 pull-up, 2 push-ups, 3 toes-to-bar. Then 1 pull-up, 2 push-ups, 3 toes-to-bar, 4 burpees. Then back to 1 and so on and so forth. You can do this workout and time yourself and try again the following week with the goal being to complete it faster without sacrificing form. 1. Pull up 2. Push up 3. Toes-to-bar 4. Burpee 5. Goblet squat @ 20 kg 6. Strict press @ 2×15# 7. Box jump 8. Bent over row @ 65# 9. Atomic sit up 10. Split jumps 11. Push press @ 2×25# 12. Kettlebell swing @ 20kg 13. Here’s why women should lift weights….and lift HEAVY. 👇🏻 To follow my post yesterday about cardio, I want to talk about weight lifting. So many women are afraid of it! 🏋🏼‍♀️ They think they won’t be able to do it (or do it correctly), or they think they are going to get too “bulky” OR they think it won’t burn enough calories. I’m here to tell you that weightlifting is the way to go! Not everyone needs to do only weightlifting; mixing HIIT workouts in with weight lifting can be the best combination for health and aesthetics. But, lifting will give the body shape and strength is something important to build, especially when we are younger. As we age, putting muscle on gets more and more challenging. As we age, we try and hold on to LBM as long as possible. Muscle is what keeps us strong enough to play with our children, carry our groceries, move furniture, etc... These are all things we want to be able to do for ourselves as long as we can. Don’t be afraid of lifting, and lifting heavy! Whoop whoop 🙌🏼 - Oberkörpertraining in der Tasche, obwohl ich vom Training gestern schon Muskelkater in den Armen hatte. Richtig ungewöhnlich, aber OK, es waren ja auch über 3 Wochen Pause.. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤪 . Ansonsten hatte ich bereits ein 4-stündiges Wohnungsputz-Warm-up direkt nach der Arbeit und war dementsprechend demotiviert in das Ding hier heute Abend gegangen. Aber manchmal läufts dann ja am Besten, weil man „den Frust“ an den Geräten auslassen kann. 💪🏼 Morgen steht wieder ein Outside-Legday an und der Geburtstag von meinem Paps, es wird also kräftig geschlemmt. 🎉Schönes WE allerseits. 🔥😁 . P.S. Auf dem Bild war ich noch nicht ready und dabei, mich quasi elfengleich auf dem Massage-Gerät zu platzieren. Falls sich jemand fragt, wieso ich mich schon wieder so verenke. Posen?
