Happy Monday ☀️ As requested, here are a few great lower body exercises that hit multiple muscle groups! 🍑 💪🏻 ————— 1️⃣ 4x8 Smith Machine Squats 2️⃣ 4x8 Dead Lifts with bar 3️⃣ 4x12 Squat to dumb bell snatch (each arm) ————— The great thing about squats and deadlifts, are that they are so efficient! Instead of isolating a muscle (ie: pelvic thrusts...which isolates the glutes), these exercises hit: the glutes, quads, hamstrings, and core!!! (Deadlifts also activate several back muscles) So...basically, if you’re in a hurry, these give you more bang for your buck 💥 • One thing I would say about deadlifts, are that they are an extremely technical move and you shouldn’t move into heavy weights until you have perfected the technique. Start with a dowel or really light weights and gradually increase. • Something that I still need to work on when I deadlift is to drop my butt below my hips in the beginning phase.
